On Good Friday, March 29, 2013, The Church of Morrison (the Laity and Clergy of the churches in Morrison) will host the annual “Cross-Walk.” This re-enactment of Christ’s fateful journey to His crucifixion will begin at noon at Resthave Retirement and Nursing Home, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL.
There will be a brief service there before walking north on Jackson Street to Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison Community Hospital, 300 N. Jackson Street.
There will be a brief service there before walking to Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, 500 N. Jackson Street, where the closing service will take place.
This moving Good Friday commemoration is open to everyone. The Cross may be carried by willing participants. Christians of all denominations are welcome to walk or ride the bus courtesy of R. C. Smith Transportation.
Bus riders will be returned to Resthave.
