Timber Lake Playhouse is offering audition classes for area youth. The focus of the classes will be audition techniques for young actresses ages seven through 13, who want to perform in the production of “Annie” next summer. These techniques will provide students with the confidence to perform in front of others with poise, confidence, and panache.
Classes combine skill instruction with “doing,” to best help the student internalize and master the audition skills taught. In addition, students will learn a portion of a song from the show, choreography from the song, and dialogue as they prepare their audition.
The first class will be Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
There is no charge, but students should preregister online at www.timberlakeplayhouse.org or by calling the Box Office at 815-244-2048. Box Office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
November 16 brings “The Blooze Brothers Revue” to TLP and Saturday, November 23, brings the “Rock n’ Roll Tribute from Elvis to The Beatles,” featuring The Neverly Brothers. Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.
TLP’s “Christmas Kaleidoscope” will open the Christmas Season with enchanting holiday performances on December 5-through-8 and 12-through-15.
