Annually, Girl Scout Sunday is celebrated across the United States on March 12, in honor of National Girl Scout Week. That day recognizes the anniversary of the origin of Girl Scouts of America, on March 12, 1912. In Morrison, IL, the 2023 event took place at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway.
Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts in Troop 1504 took part in several aspects of the church service. They were greeters, ushers, acolytes, liturgist, and offering collectors.
