Celebrate Girl Scout Sunday on Sunday, March 12, 2023, recognizing the anniversary of the origin of Girl Scouts of America, on March 12, 1912.
Sunday, March 12, is Girl Scout Sunday. In honor of the annual National Girl Scout Week celebration, Girl Scout Troop 1504 will assist in the service, at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
They will conduct aspects of the service as greeters, ushers, acolytes, liturgist, and offering collectors.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the 9:00 worship service. The public is encouraged to attend this annual event and recognize Morrison Girl Scouting and activities which girls have enjoyed.
Former Girl Scouts and Leaders are especially invited.
