Gina Ellis, age 36, died Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL.
Gina was born on August 20, 1986, in Sterling, the daughter of Ervin and Jill (Siperly) Cornstubble. She married Adam Ellis on June 5, 2009. He preceded her in death in 2015. Gina was employed as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed artwork and collecting rocks.
Survivors include her parents, Ervin and Jill Cornstubble of Lyndon, IL; son, Lucas Allen Emerson of Lyndon; paternal grandfather, Bert Cornstubble of Rock Falls; maternal grandmother #2, Kathy Siperly of Morrison, IL; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Sally Siperly; paternal grandmother, Alice Cornstubble.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Private Graveside Services will be held at later date. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, IL.
