Morrison High School Teacher Brian Bartoz wrote, “The Homecoming festivities are going well at Morrison HS. Students and Teachers have participated in the spirit days organized by Student Council, regarding the “Hollywood Homecoming” theme.”
A THUSE Pep Rally takes place tonight, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., behind the High School building. Admission is $2 at the gate, or show your THUSE button. (It can be purchased today at Morrison High School for $1.) The traditional Mom Pons routine will be featured and current Cheerleader and Pons squads will inspire the attendees. Powder Puff skirmishes take place between Sophomores vs Juniors; Freshmen vs Seniors; winners of those games vie for the championship. Dads of MHS Seniors will compete. The 2022 Homecoming King and Queen will be announced. This glowing bonfire was during THUSE 2021.
The celebration continues Friday, September 23, with the 3:00 p.m. Homecoming Parade, starting along E. Main Street. The Homecoming Football game against Sherrard begins at 7:00.
