Morrison Community High School Class of 1966 celebrated their 50th reunion on Friday, September 30, and Saturday, October 1, 2016. Eighty-five of the original 103 graduates attended.
Classmate Brent Sikkema purchased the Annan Mill on December 17, 2015, and donated it to the Morrison Historical Society. As a “Thank you” to Sikkema for his generosity, the class voted to collect donations at the reunion to help with the mill.
Seven Reunion Committee members presented donations totaling $1500 and one membership fee (from Bob Goodenough) to Morrison Historical Society on Sunday, November 14. Committee member Peggy Belha was unable to attend. They gathered in one of the grist mill’s second floor rooms.
