Join the Master Gardeners of Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties in cooperation with Sauk Valley Community College, on Saturday, March 17, 2018, for this one-day horticulture workshop. Participants will hear keynote presenter Sandra Mason, State Master Gardener Coordinator; attend three breakout sessions; shop vendors during breaks and lunch. Fifteen breakout sessions will be available, including Wildlife In the Garden.
The program fee is $45 and includes morning refreshments, lunch, and select handouts.
Join Peggy Doty, University of Illinois Extension Energy and Environmental Stewardship Educator, as she shares her knowledge on Wildlife in the Garden. What are the potential animals you may find in your garden or on your property? what are their intentions? This program will list most of the possible critters you may encounter. It will help you decide when it can stay or if it needs to go, and how to evict it legally.
A keynote presentation on These Are Not Your Granny’s Bloomers: How Flowers Have Changed Over the Decades, will be presented by Sandra Mason, State Master Gardener Coordinator.
