Morrison Garden Club will once again sponsor a Spring coloring contest, with the help of Odell Public Library, running Monday, April 5, through Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Odell Public Library is located at 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. Please call the Library at 815-772-7323 to make arrangements to pick up a coloring page, on or after April 5.
Prizes being given will be on display at the Library. Each prize basket also includes a gift certificate to K & R Greenhouse in Morrison.
There will be three age categories: 3-5; 6-8; 9-10-year-olds. An age-appropriate, garden-related prize will be given to the winner of each category.
The rules of the contest follow.
1) Contest is open to all children between the ages of three and ten.
2) Entry must be the child’s own work and on the official coloring page, available at the library beginning April 5.
3) Only one entry per child. is allowed.
4) Any medium can be used, crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, etc.
5) On the back of the coloring page the child’s name, age, contact name, and phone number must be entered, to be eligible for a prize.
6) Entries must be dropped off by Wednesday, May 5, at the Library to be eligible for judging.
