A Fulton, I[L], teen has been arrested after he allegedly made threats Tuesday[, February 27, 2018,] to harm students at Fulton High School, forcing the school to be placed on lockdown, Fulton Police Lt. Donnie Pridemore said.
About 11:05 a.m., Pridemore said, Police were alerted to the threats to bodily harm students.
Police determined the threats to be credible, and the investigation led them to a suspect, Fulton High School graduate Blake A. Dornbush, 18.
With help from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s and Moline Police Departments, Dornbush was located and taken into custody about 1:30 p.m.
Dornbush is charged with Disorderly Conduct involving the Threat of Violence, Death or Bodily Harm. The charge is a Class 4 felony under Illinois law that carries a prison sentence of one-to-three years.
Officers searched Dornbush’s vehicle and home but did not find any firearms or other weapons.
Dornbush was being held Tuesday night in the Whiteside County Jail, pending a first appearance Wednesday[, February 28,] in Whiteside County Circuit Court.
