Fulton’s Annual Plant Sale

Posted by

DaylilyWe are all anxious to get out in our yards and start gardening.  As you survey your flower and perennial gardens, please keep the Fulton plant sale in mind.  The annual plant sale is Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at the Robert Fulton Community Center (former fire station.)

Are some of your plants too crowded and need to be split?  Do you have a plant that you just don’t like anymore?  Bring them to the sale, and we will find a new home for them.  Plants can be brought in plastic pots, plastic bags, or cardboard flats.  If you need advice on digging up plants, please contact Judy at 815-589-4101 or Carol at 815-589-2174.

Plants may be brought to the Community Center on Friday, May 9, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The yearly plant sale is organized by the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners and Friends of the Windmill.  All profits will be given to the Friends of the Windmill for the beautification of the Windmill Area.
