The Fulton, IL, Culinary Walk–featuring caramel–which took place Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., was a great success. Late afternoon showers cleared up, and out came the sun! Over a couple of hours, 73 participants went to six partnering businesses.
They included River Huis Traders; Susan’s Calico Creations; Sweet Woodruff; Wilson’s Floral & Gifts; Witt’s End Salon; Words of Wisdom.
All ages enjoyed caramel truffles, iced caramel coffee, caramel-dipped apples, carmelettos, and caramel-dipped pretzels, as well as the sales these stores offered.
Drawings to win a $20 gift certificate took place. The winners can use their certificates at their choice of partnering store.
