Free Summer Lunch Program Begins May 29

sandwich graphicThe “Let’s Feed Our Children” free summer lunch program is a United Way of Whiteside County sponsored program, for children in Albany, Chadwick, Erie, Fulton, Lyndon, Milledgeville, Morrison, Prophetstown, Rock Falls, Sterling, and Tampico, IL.

Free sack lunches will be served three days each week, Tuesday-though-Thursday, beginning Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Crave Building, 201 W. Market Street, Morrison, IL, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  The program concludes Thursday, August 9.

A sack lunch is provided each child, containing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, 100% juice, fresh fruit, and dessert.  No questions are asked.

Morrison Church members will make sandwiches and fill lunch bags at the Crave building, prior to 11:30.  Other volunteers are invited to help and may contact their church Secretary.
