Dance class began on Thursday, September 7, 2017, for one local girl. Sponsor Courtney Taylor, Morrison, IL, designed an amazing giveaway, as a way to give back to her community. Taylor teamed with dance instructor LeAnn Schaefer, to offer a free year of dance lessons, at LeAnn’s Dance Connection (LDC) studio, 107 Sawyer Road, in Morrison, across the road from DQ Grill & Chill.
Schaefer began her 15th year of instruction in preschool through high school: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and tumbling. Pointe lessons begin in fifth grade. Boys’ hip hop classes start after Christmas.
Danica Pfister, a Morrison, IL, 5th grader, was the winner of the “Free Year of Dance” giveaway.
