frances normanFrances J. Norman, 77, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, November 1, 2019, at her home.

Frances was born September 27, 1942, in Clinton, IA, to Richard and Roberta (Anderson) Sullivan.  She attended St. Mary’s Grade School in Clinton and was a 1961 graduate of Mt. St. Clare Academy in Clinton.  Frances married William J. “Bill” Norman on June 10, 1961, in Clinton.  He died December 18, 2014.  Frances worked at General Electric in Morrison for 36 years and then worked at Advantage One Credit Union for five years.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison and a member of the Double I Antique Car Club.  Fran was a “shifty” professional Euchre player.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, William Mark Norman of Wesley Chapel, FL, Kurt Norman of Morrison, Kevin (Patricia Adeli) Norman of St. Charles, IL ,and Eric (Sara) Norman of St. Charles; 12 grandchildren, Amanda Norman, Megan Harvey, Erin Norman, Hannah Norman, Matt Norman, Haley Norman, Taylor Norman, Zachary Norman, Claire Norman, Emma Norman, Alexandria Adeli, and Samantha Adeli; great-grandchildren, Emerson and Harvey; sister, Rita (Rod) Collins of Galesburg, IL; brother, Leo (Joan) Sullivan of Morrison; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sullivan of Clinton, Faye Jansma of Geneseo, IL, and Lynne (Darrell) Buikema of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; sons, Steven Norman and Bradley Norman in infancy; brother, John “Jack” Sullivan.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison, IL, with Rev. Father Slawomir Zimodro officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison., IL.

A memorial to St. Mary’s Catholic Church has been established.
