Morrison Charitable Food Pantry NFP has updated their Ice Cream Social Fund Raiser event, on Sunday, October 22, 2023, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Join us at 629 E. Lincolnway Road (formerly Hilltop Lanes bowling alley) east of Kunes Country Auto Group Morrison. There is ample parking available. Invite your friends and family to share this community event.
Sunday’s event will be dedicated to the memory of Ron Finnicum, a long time Volunteer who passed away on October 12. He will be sorely missed by all.

We have some really fantastic Silent Auction Baskets; 50/50 raffle tickets; raffle tickets for two Knight .50 caliber Black Powder Rifles. (Note: The black powder rifle winners will be drawn inside Mahaffey’s on Main, at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 2, during Morrison’s Christmas Walk.) Rifle ticket sales are limited to 500 tickets and can be seen at 626 Guns Shop, 1114 First Avenue, in Rock Falls, IL.
The fun begins as you put in your bids for the gift baskets on display and purchase your raffle tickets. The following is a short list of what we have so far: Amish Oak Plant Stand; Cactus Garden; Plant Arrangement in terra cotta planter; Chocolate & Wine Basket; Large Tackle Box loaded with new Lures; Wreath; handmade wood cutting board with coasters and two bowls; Kitchen/Cooking Baskets, Car Care Baskets, Ladder Quilt Rack; Lap Quilt, etc.
Update on Wednesday, October 18: Late arrivals are Hall Pottery items; Antiques–Cedar Chest, Arm Chair, Drop-Leaf Table, and small Rocking Chair.
We have a lot of local businesses who donated gift certificates which we greatly appreciate in addition to the individual donations. They all are so awesome and generous. Bid on dining certificates, car care (i.e. oil changes, etc.), and great gift baskets.
You do not have to be present at the ending of the Silent Auction. Whoever’s name is at the top of each list is the highest bidder, and they will be notified if not present.
