Morrison High School Senior Marissa Folkers signed a Letter of Intention, to attend the University of Wisconsin at Platteville, WI, and participate in their Softball program. The Wednesday, March 9, 2023, signing ceremony was held in the MHS gymnasium, where Marissa was joined by her parents, Andrea and Scott, and sister Megan.
Also viewing the signing were Morrison Softball Coaches Kim Snider, Luke Schoeten, and DeWitt Danger, as well as Coach Lonnie Ledvine.
Athletic Director Greg Dolan congratulated Marissa in front of a student gathering prior to her signing the Letter of Intent.
Coach Ledvine, in a private interview, added that Marissa is “the best player that [I have] ever coached” in his over 15 years of coaching Girls Travel Softball.
