Floyd C. Noble, 71, of Erie, IL, formerly of Savanna, IL, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his home.

Floyd was born October 22, 1942, in Savanna, the son of Robert Ira Noble and Laura Thulion Noble. He was married to Carol Padulla West from December 28, 1973, to April 29, 1994. She was the love of his life. Floyd had worked for Drives, LLC in Fulton, IL, a Hog Confinement, Coop and Rendering companies, and Coliis, as well as farming. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding motorcycles, and junking.

He is survived by his children, Robbie Noble, Farlington, KS, Ruth Noble, Lanark, IL, Sharon Escutia, Salem, OR, Hazel Noble, Jefferson, OR, Floyd Noble, Morrison, IL; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Henry Noble, Erie, Roger Wilgus, Nelcrest, FL, Ruth Anderson, Sulphur Springs, AR, and Sharon Dickman, Minot, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joe and Danny Noble; a daughter, Laurie Perry, and a son, Floyd Noble, Jr.

A visitation and Remembrance Service will be held from 2:00 to to 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014, at Gibson–Bode Funeral Home, Erie, IL.
