First Presbyterian Church of Morrison will offer Drive-up BBQ Meals throughout the summer, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Lincolnway and Genesee Street. Sunday meals will be offered June 23; July 7 and 21; August 4, 2019.
Customers can drive up, park in the available parking spaces, pay, and pick up freshly prepared meals to take home. Meals provided on these first three dates will cost $7 each.
“We have volunteers who love to cook,” said Pastor Mike Selburg. We’re hoping people will take advantage of having others cook dinner, on some hot summer evenings.”
A main course meat, sides, and chips will be included.
The program will culminate on Sunday, August 4, with a Shrimp Boil, which will require pre-purchased tickets at $12 each. Tickets are available now through Thursday, July 25, by calling 815-772-3510 or emailing firstpresmorrison@gmail.com.
