Remember the convenience of drive-in restaurants with car-hop service? Recreate that experience at the Morrison Fire Station, 206 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL, on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., firefighters will host a drive-through sandwich sale. Enter from W. Main; exit onto U. S. Route 30.
Choose from butterflied pork chops, brats, and hot dogs. Chips and a drink are included.
Funds support purchases of general equipment for the 30-man department. Meet the newest member, Tony Belha.
Also convenient is the opportunity to drop off cash or new, unwrapped, Christmas toys at the Morrison Fire Department. This is the department’s 6th Annual Kids Toy Drive, called “Caring for Our Community.”
In just a few weeks, Santa and Mrs. Claus will deliver a Merry Christmas to local children, escorted in shiny firehouse equipment.
“Your help is needed and greatly appreciated,” stated a member of the MFD Kids Toy Drive Committee.
