Concluding its eight year run of Southern Gospel concerts, Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL, is thrilled to welcome one of the most beloved families of gospel music, The Perrys. They return in a final gospel concert on Friday, April 29, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. No tickets are needed; a free-will love offering will be received.
This amazing group was voted America’s Favorite Mixed Group for four years straight. It seems appropriate they will present the final concert of Emmanuel’s run of Southern Gospel concerts. It was The Perrys that started it all, in May 2008.
Known for songs that have topped the Singing News Top 40 as number one, these include “If You Knew Him,” “I Rest My Case at the Cross.” Don’t miss this amazing evening of music.
Especially moving will be the testimony of The Perrys, as they relate the story of bass singer Tracy’s massive stroke in January 2013. His miraculous healing and continued work at physical therapy and restoration are a story you don’t want to miss. He is singing in every concert once again.
