The Morrison Fillies opened their home Softball season before a large, but chilled, crowd with a 17-9 victory over the Lena- Winslow Panthers. The Fillies’ offense had six players with multi-hit nights led by Jordan Eads, Bayleigh Brewer, and Allie Anderson each recording four hits and totaling 11 RBIs. Bella Sachette added three hits and two RBIs. Bella Duncan and Marissa Folkers added two hits each as the 22-hit attack earned the second win of the young season for the Fillies (2-0.)
Pitchers Marissa Folkers (5 inn.) and Jordan Eades (2 inn.) combined to hold the Lady Panthers to eight hits, while recording four strikeouts and five walks.
