The weather warmed a little and the Morrison Fillies earned another conference win over Newman Central Catholic to run their conference mark to 5-0.
The Fillie’s offense banged out eleven hits with Chelsea Eads collecting three and Allie Wiersema struck out nine Lady Comets and allowed only three hits as the Fillies shutout the Comets 7-0.
