The Amboy Lady Clippers scored three early, but the Morrison Fillies rallied late to record their second Conference win.
A three-run double in the second inning by Amboy’s Thurman gave the Clippers an emotional lift, but they couldn’t hold the lead. Morrison scored four in the fourth and five in the sixth to overcome the Conference foe from Amboy.
Freshman Lauren Pannier completed two innings giving up three runs. Allie Wiersema finished the final five innings allowing another three runs during her relief on the mound.
