The Morrison Fillies made an early statement by scoring 20 first quarter points and cruised to a Three Rivers Conference win over the Riverdale Rams, 66-42.
Ashley Greul was the difference in the first half. She contributed five baskets and earned her way to the free throw line seven times, making four.
Emma Melton was credited with eight assists and four steals. Her presence in the front court created a challenge for the Lady Rams.
The boards were controlled by the Fillies. Emma Sitzmore gathered in nine, and Ashley Greul grabbed eight rebounds. The Fillies used all their weapons to gain a much needed confidence-building win.
