Game four at the Warkins Cardinal Tourney allowed the Morrison Fillies to rebound back into the win column. On Monday, December 29, 2014, they earned a defeat over the Galva, IL, Lady Wildcats 46-37.
The opening half belonged to Galva’s Samantha Desmit. She poured in 12 of her 14 points to lead the Lady Wildcats into the halftime locker room with a 25-21 lead. Morrison’s Lakin Goodman scored 11 of her game-high 16 in the first half.
Emma Sitzmore joined in the scoring by adding 10 of her 12 points in the second half. The Wildcats were held to 12 second half points. The Fillies evened their tourney record to 2-2, before playing the final game on Tuesday, December 30, to determine their final tourney placement.
