The Morrison High School Fillies Softball team was eliminated in the Friday, June 2, 2017, Class 2A Semi-Final State Championship game, at EastSide Centre in East Peoria, IL. The game started at 5:45 p.m. and concluded at 7:07, before a crowd of 375. The Fillies faced 7th-ranked Beecher, losing by a score of 6 to 1. The Fillies will place third or fourth, depending on the outcome Saturday afternoon.
