The non-Conference game between the Morrison Fillies and the Annawan-Wethersfield Coop was highlighted by a pitching dual and ended in a 1-0 win for the home team at Annawan, IL.
The Fillies’ Bella Duncan only allowed three hits, while striking out 11 batters. She was charged with the loss, when a run was allowed in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The Fillies’ offense was held to four singles ( J. Eads -2, B. Scachette, and K.Wolber) and one triple by Kaylee Pruis, but failed to cross the plate.
