Morrison Fillies pitcher, Bella Duncan, struck out 17 Sterling hitters, but recorded the loss (5-4) on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
The Fillies fought back following a first inning 3-run homer by Sterling’s Martinez, to tie the game with three runs in the third inning. Two Sterling runs in the sixth inning were more than the Fillies could overcome to record the Opening season loss.
