Starting a season undefeated and becoming a Tourney champion can only add excitement to a High School sports program. That is exactly what the Morrison Fillies did last week, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Making the trek to the Wisconsin/Illinois State line didn’t slow the Morrison Fillies. They defeated five of the Northern Illinois teams, to earn the Championship of the Warren Thanksgiving Tourney. The Fillies corralled the host Warren Lady Warriors, of the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference, 60-28, to complete the run of the tourney and bring home the championship trophy.
