The #2 seeded Morrison Fillies eliminated the Lady Mallards from Henry-Senachwine High School on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Newman Central Catholic Regional by an 8-2 score. Bella Duncan was in control from the mound and allowed only four hits and two runs. Duncan, BayLeigh Brewer, Kiyah Wolber, and Allie Anderson each had multiple-hit afternoons, highlighted by a three-run home run by Anderson in the second inning.
The Fillies will match up against the Thursday winner between Newman and Granville to determine the Regional Champion, at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
