Flags are to be lowered to half-staff today, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in honor of Retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court John Paul Stevens
Retired Associate Justice Stevens was laid in repose in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court of the United States, on Monday, July 22.
A private funeral service and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 23.
President Donald Trump has issued a proclamation for the U. S. Flag to be flown at half-staff on the day of Justice Stevens’s interment, from Sunrise until Sunset, to honor his life and service to the United States.
