As part of the Lifelong Learning Series, Friends of Odell Public Library presents John Park, Dietitian at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL, on Monday, February 5, 2018. Park, through a PowerPoint presentation, will discuss healthy eating and its benefits. The program begins at 6:30 p.m., in the Program Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
Park is originally from Orangeville, IL, which is about 12 miles from Freeport, IL. “My parents still live there,” he stated. After receiving his Master’s Degree, Park worked for a year in Abilene, TX, before coming to Sterling and CGH Medical Center.
He is a registered Dietitian at the CGH Medical Center’s Main Clinic, supervising the Diabetes and Nutrition Center. His main duties include providing medical nutrition therapy education and counseling for patients and their family members. He also collaborates with other healthcare professionals in providing and recommending appropriate nutrition interventions.
It is too soon to dismiss or forget that New Year’s resolution. Come and hear John Park’s tips to be a healthier you in 2018. There is no charge for this program.
