The Whiteside Forum continues its environmental theme and will host Guest Speaker Dr. Michael Reisner, from Augustana College, in Rock Island, IL, on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Join us in the Odell Public Library Program Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL. The program starts at 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Reisner is Director of the Upper Mississippi Center for Sustainable Communities and also an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies. He comes from an interdisciplinary background. This includes
- environmental and natural resources law and policies
- fish and wildlife ecology
- human dimensions of ecosystem
- restoration ecology.
This event is free and open to everyone who shares a concern for our environment. Please join us as we discuss environmental studies and issues, and how we can work together to reduce our impact on compromised ecosystems at home and downstream.
