Basketball results usually are reflected by the final score, created on the offensive end. But during the Monday, February 22, 2021, Freshman/Sophomore game, between Morrison and Rockridge, victory was decided on the defensive end.
The young Fillies outscored the Lady Rockets from the field 26-24. However, the defense sent the Rockets to the free throw line 26 times where they connected on 15 shots, contrasted with Morrison’s 3-out-of-13 free throw successes. Final score was Rockridge 39, Morrison 29.
