Morrison Police Department reported the following Arrests made and Citations issued as of Friday, February 21, 2025.
Arrests: On Monday, February 17, 2025, at approximately 4:31 a.m., Morrison Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of S. Base Street, Morrison, IL. Morrison Police ultimately arrested the driver, Lucas D. Carlson, 20, Morrison, for Zero Tolerance-Driving Under the Influence. Carlson was cited and released. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted Morrison Police.
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Morrison Police Department arrested Nathan Q. Sandell in the 600 block of Ash Avenue on a Whiteside County Warrant for Attempted Armed Robbery, a Class 1 Felony. Morrison Police obtained the warrant after investigating an incident that occurred on December 15, 2024. Sandell was held in Whiteside County Jail with no bond. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted Morrison Police.
