2-07-17 at 10:54 p.m. During a traffic stop at W. Lincolnway and Emerson Road, Alfred A. Lee, age 22 of Chicago, IL, arrested on Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
2-08-17 at 12:45 a.m. Katherine J. Kelly, age 36 of Prophetstown, IL, was stopped in Lyndon, IL, for an equipment violation. She was subsequently arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a Promise to Comply, and was given a written warning for Inoperative Rear Registration Light, Failure to Notify Secretary of State (Address Change), No Valid Illinois Registration (new resident), and No Valid Illinois Driver’s License (new resident.)
2-8-17 at 1:55 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a call for disorderly conduct in rural Rock Falls, IL. Upon further investigation, Michael F. Ely, age 40 of Rock Falls, was arrested for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer. He was taken to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond. CGH EMS assisted on scene.
2-10-17 at 9:15 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies attempted a traffic stop on Interstate 88 at milemarker 30 on a vehicle reported stolen from Chicago, IL. After a short pursuit, the vehicle crashed in a ditch on IL Route 78 north of Wayne Road. Deputies were able to apprehend the occupants after a foot chase. The occupants were charged with:
- Hakeem S. Campbell, age 18 of Chicago–Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, Speeding 120/70 MPH, Speeding 120/55 MPH, Reckless Driving, and two Counts of Aggravated Fleeing to Elude.
- Jabaree X. White, age 18 of Chicago–Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
- Johnathan K. Kelly, age 20 of Chicago–Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle, and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer.
>All three were transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where they were held pending an initial court appearance. Morrison Police, Prophetstown Police, Tampico Police, Erie Police, Illinois State Police, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and Hunter’s Towing all assisted on scene.
2-11-17 at 12:40 a.m. During a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 near Matznick Road, Virgil T. Crouch, age 41 of Morrison, IL, arrested for Speeding 114 M.P.H. in a 55 M.P.H speed zone and Driving While License Suspended. He was processed at the Whiteside County Jail and released on a Notice to Appear.
2-11-17 at 3:38 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Rock Falls, IL. Upon further investigation, Charles A. Brady, age 52 of Dixon, IL, was arrested for Improper Parking on a Roadway, Improper Lane Usage, and two counts of Driving Under the Influence. Brady was transported to Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
