“This was the biggest and best of all of our dances, yet. Huge numbers attended, and the weather cooperated for a beautiful night under the stars. [It was] a full house!” stated Nancy Anderson.
“Denim and Lace,” St. Mary’s Catholic Church Father Daughter barn dance took place Friday, April 25, 2014. Attendees overflowed from the Parish Hall, 13320 Garden Plain Road, Morrison, IL, onto the church patio, during an evening with huge attendance. As in the past, this annual community event was successful due to the following reasons.
- There were elegantly-clad Morrison young ladies and their charming escorts.
- Enthusiastic dancers of all ages participated.
- It featured great dance music.
- There were raffle gift baskets.
- Refreshments included delicious refreshments.
- Remembrance pictures of each couple made this a special and fun evening.
Anderson added, “Thank you to all that attended and helped to make this such a memorable family event.”
