Evenings with Shakespeare, the art of beading, and art history discussions are new events for the Morrison, IL, community. Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, is more than a “house for books.”
It is also a place which promotes and facilitates learning. Odell is “where it happens.”
- To begin this monthly series of “Odell Happenings” are two “Evenings with Shakespeare” on Wednesday, January 30, and Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Anne Frame will teach Shakespeare’s great work “Hamlet,” through film and a PowerPoint presentation.
- Wednesday, February 20, will feature local artist Marianne Biagi‘s presentation on the “Art of Beading.” Her discussion and demonstration will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
