The Clinton Symphony Orchestra concert scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020, has been cancelled. Ticket holders are encouraged to donate the cost of the ticket back to the Symphony, or to use them to bring a guest to a concert in the 2020-21 season.

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service suspended operations at the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge Savanna District Visitor Center (Refuge), effective Tuesday, March 17. Boat Landings and trails continue to be open. We will notify the public when we reopen the center.

Timber Lake Playhouse has postponed the “Oh, Boys!” concert on Friday, March 20. If you have tickets purchased for the March 20 concert, tickets and seat assignments will automatically transfer to the new date.Those who cannot make the rescheduled date have two options. The ticket price can be used for any other TLP production, or the ticket price can be refunded. Additionally, TLP will reschedule local auditions planned for March 29 to April 26. Illinois High School Association (IHSA) has cancelled its remaining winter State Series postseason tournaments, which include Boys Basketball, Scholastic Bowl, Drama and Group Interpretation, Music, Debate, and Journalism.
Permits for all scheduled tours of the Illinois State Capitol Building and all events scheduled to take place at the Capitol Building, in Springfield, have been cancelled. In addition, lobbyists who have lobby days or other events at the Capitol Building are being encouraged to alert them to these cancellations.
