On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Morrison High School Principal David Mills, right, congratulated Jon Etnyre for being selected, by the students, as a member of the Morrison High School staff to receive the Staff of the Month award. Great Job; keep it up, Mr. Etnyre!
Etnyre was selected for September. He works at the High School as a Paraprofessional, helping in many different classes throughout the day. He was nominated by two high school students, Gracie Jordan and Evan Peddicord. Below are their comments on their nomination.
[During] “my Freshman year, he helped me get through my tests. He helped me pass, when I was failing, and I had a lot going on. He is also very kind, and he knows how to calm me down when I get upset. He is not the type of person to judge or look at you differently, even if you don’t get along. Mr. Etnyre is very understanding; he listens to what you have to say. He is very good at explaining things to me. Things need to be explained to me in a different way, if I don’t understand them, and he gets that.”
“He often helps with people’s work, when they really need it.”
