ethel millerEthel J. Miller, 74, of Resthave Home, Morrison, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Friday, September 11, 2015, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL.

Ethel was born January 3, 1941, in Clinton, IA, to Bert and Tena (Boonstra) Van Houten. She was educated in the Fulton Christian Grade School and was a graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton. She attended beauty/cosmetology school. She first married James A. Andrews on October 11, 1958, in Fulton. She later married Allen C. Miller in October 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. He died January 14, 2003. Ethel enjoyed flower gardening, reading, dancing, camping, and watching professional basketball.

Survivors include three daughters, Terry (Don) VanZuiden of Rio Rancho, NM, Su Andrews of Bettendorf, IA, and Wendy (Tom) Halverson of Morrison; two sons, James A. (Ruby) Andrews III of Des Moines, IA, and Scot (Renee) Andrews of Herrin, IL; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Wiersema and Lillian (Don) Hall both of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Allen.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING:  Pastor Rita Wolf

VISITATION:  5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT:  Lyndon Township Cemetery, Lyndon, IL
