Emmanuel Reformed Free Drive-Up Meal March 10

SmotheredSwissSteakEmmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL, offers free, community, Wednesday night, drive-through meals from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.  Because of COVID-19 restrictions, there is currently no inside dining for Wednesday meals.

On March 10, 2021, the menu will be Smothered Swiss Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and Carrot Cake with homemade cream cheese frosting.  Please enter the church parking lot from the north alley, and remain in your car.  A runner will ask how many meals you need, and they will be brought to you. 

On Sunday, March 14, 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 Worship Services will have Pastor Luke continuing his Lenten message series, “Journey of the Stones” with his message “Heart of Stones,” drawn from Luke 11: 37-52.  The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services.  At the 10:00 service, Profession of Faith and the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated. 

Ministry Coordinator Rich Criss will lead the Worship set, using “At the Cross” and “In Christ Alone.”  Criss will be the organist for the service, providing the prelude, interlude, and postlude.

Please call the Emmanuel Church reservation line, 815-213-8715, to leave a message or text with your name, which service you will attend, how many others will attend with you, and a contact number, beginning Tuesday, February 16.  Call in the morning through 4:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon.

Reservations are received on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of 100 in the sanctuary.  Please note, the 8:30 a.m. service is “masks recommended,” and the 10:00 service is “masks mandatory at all times.”
