Emmanuel Reformed Church Services to Go Live

Posted by

EmmanuelRChurchThe crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic has inspired The Consistory of Emmanuel Reformed Church.  They created a new and constant way for congregants to receive God’s message–without gathering in large, restricted numbers.  Beginning Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., Emmanuel Reformed Church will begin live streaming the Sunday service from the pulpit via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/emmanuelreformedchurchmorrison/).

Interim Pastor Al Pruis will deliver the message, accompanied by a praise team.  Music will be live and supported with on-screen verses to allow at-home sing-a-longs.

We welcome the community to join these online services as we enter the Easter season and beyond.

Sunday service will be offered at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning, until restrictions are altered to allow larger group gatherings.  Similar special services will be available on Facebook on Maundy Thursday, April 9, and Easter Sunday, April 12.  Times and details will follow.

Emmanuel Reformed Church also announces the postponement on the Spring Cantata.  Plans are to reschedule as circumstances allow.

It goes without saying that this is a time of special needs and adjustments in our daily routines.  It also is a time for a community to pull together and offer assistance wherever it is needed.
