ella kramerElla A. Kramer, 90, of Resthave Home, Morrison, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Resthave Home.

Ella was born July 31, 1923, in Garden Plain, IL, to Louis J. and Agnes (Sikkema) Pessman. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools. Ella married Arthur Kramer on December 17, 1965, in Morrison. He died November 20, 2012. Ella was first employed by the former Volckmann Furniture Factory in Morrison. Later, she was employed by the Morrison Telephone Company for 33 years. Ella was a former member of the Morrison Christian Reformed Church and then was a member of the First Reformed Church in Fulton, IL, a member of the church’s Helping Hand Society, served on the Calling Team, and was a choir member. Ella also led the “Sing-a-long” at Harbor Crest Home in Fulton.

Survivors include one brother-in-law, Marvin Kramer of Fulton; 14 nieces, Sharon (Merle) Reisenbigler of Morrison; Joan Hook of Morrison; Sandy (Larry) Senior of Fulton; Vi Jones of Phoenix, AZ; Betty Martin of Phoenix, AZ; Ellen (Carl) Smith of Goodyear, AZ; Carol (John) Ledger of Peoria, AZ; Marie Wiersema of Peoria, AZ; Linda (Bob) Robbins of Rock Falls, IL; Lorna Witherow of Lyndon, IL; Sherri Argarves of Sterling, IL; Joanne (Warren) Musser of Sterling; Lois (Steve) Andrews of Oceanport, NJ; six nephews, Arlyn (Jane) Pessman of Morrison; Gary (Lisa) Kramer of Fulton; Wayne (Ruth) Kramer of Orange City, IA; Ken Kramer of Clinton, IA; Harold Pessman of Rock Falls; Roger Pessman of Rock Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; three sisters, Julia Beveroth, Dorothy Kramer, and Harriet Wiersema; two brothers, Homer Pessman and Lewis Pessman

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING:  Rev. Edie Lenz, Pastor: First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL

VISITATION:  9:30 a.m., until the time of the service on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT:  Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL
