On Wednesday, April 1, 2016, the place to be is Happy Tails, for the annual Easter egg hunt. It promises to be one of the most fun egg hunts the community has to offer. There will be the Easter bunny and a ton of candy.
You can tour the shelter and visit with our amazing cats. The hunt is for groups of ages 2-4, 5-7, and 8-10.
The registration fee is $3. Registration opens at 5:00 p.m., and the hunt begins at 5:30.
Please note this event is for kids only, no pets. Bring a basket and come to Happy Tails for an “eggsceptional” event!
The shelter is located at 1408 McNeil Road in Rock Falls, IL,between Dixon Avenue and Route 30.
Happy Tails Humane Society, a nonprofit organization, operates Whiteside County’s only animal shelter. It is a limited-intake, no-kill facility that shelters and cares for stray and abandoned dogs and cats, until they are adopted into loving, permanent homes. Happy Tails promotes pet adoption and humane education.
