Blackhawk Hills Regional Council, northwest Illinois’ economic development district and regional planning commission, presents “Energizing Tomorrow’s Economy.” This regional development summit, with its unique blend of speakers and vendors, will be held at the picturesque Lake Carroll Clubhouse, 29-11 Ironwood Boulevard, Lake Carroll, IL, on Friday, August 15, 2014.

“Energizing Tomorrow’s Economy” is appropriate for any public or non-profit official, administrator, or professional staffer impacted by–or interested in–transportation funding mechanisms, economic health and local incentives programs, and energy efficiency grants for public and private sector facilities (as well as homeowners.) Private individuals and businesses are also welcome to register.
The event is $10 per person and open to the public. This includes breakfast, lunch, and a chance to receive end-of-the-day giveaways. Networking time is allotted. Planning and engineering firms will be available for consultation and discussion between speakers.
