City Administrator Brian Melton issued this announcement on Monday, January 27, 2025.
Beginning Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and continuing for about a week, drivers should avoid the far, east end of Knox Street, at the intersection with N. Jackson Street, below Morrison Community Hospital. Sewer lines will be moved, in preparation for the hospital expansion. Barricades will be in place.
On Tuesday, January 28, Morrison Community Hospital CEO Pam Pfister stated the lower level entrance will reopen Thursday, February 6.
All visitors and patients should use the Main Entrance and parking lot.
