Morrison Community Unit School District #6 recently launched a new website. Now there a phone mobile application to bring school information to the palm of your hand. It’s everything MCUSD6, in your pocket.
Director of Technology Duane Shaffer stated, “While websites are a great place to go for detailed information about a group or organization, a mobile app provides a much easier place to find everyday information, such as cafeteria menus, staff directories, events, and alerts. Users have much quicker access to things such as events, lunch menus, staff contact information, etc.”
Another addition to both the website and app is the Live Feed section. “The Live Feed is our very own social media stream, of sorts. It updates whenever our staff shares wonderful and exciting things we have going on in our schools,” Shaffer added.
