Douglas W. Stegenga, 67, of Morrison, IL, died Monday, September 16, 2019, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
Doug was born September 4, 1952, in Clinton, IA, to Milton J. and Yvonne E. (Widder) Stegenga. He attended the Clinton grade schools and was a graduate of Clinton High School. He furthered his education, attending Clinton Community College. Doug had served in the United States Navy. He married Nita F. Lee on February 14, 2015, in De Witt, IA. Doug worked as a locomotive engineer for the Chicago Northwestern and Union Pacific Railroads.
Survivors include his wife, Nita; sister, Meghan (Mike) Voss; one aunt; nine cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one aunt, Judith Henricksen.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no visitation or services.
